Double Bonus Video Poker

This game gives you an exciting chance to play a unique variety of real money video poker with a fairly unique strategy. Just like traditional poker games, you're trying to create the best five-card poker hand possible, but Double Bonus Poker turns some of the hand rankings on their head. This is particularly important for Four Of A Kinds, where Aces are worth more than 2's, 3's, and 4's, which in turn are worth more than cards in the 5 to K range. This arrangement is not at all normal and, therefore, you'll need to make some serious modifications to your strategy; refer to the pay table below for details. This pay table is for full pay Double Bonus video poker but most casinos use less lucrative versions.

At the beginning of the game, you should verify that you are using an appropriate coin size. These typically range from just five cents up to five dollars each, but since you should always bet five coins per hand, you will need to be conservative when choosing your coin denominations. Once you have this out of the way, click on the Bet Max button to put five coins into the machine and hit the Deal button. The digital dealer will give you five cards, all of which are facing up, and you have the opportunity to modify your hand. The dealer will replace any of these cards that you don't like; just click on the ones that you want to hold and then hit the Draw button to get your new cards. These new cards will finalize your hand and your success or failure will be based upon how well your cards stacks up against the pay table.

This is one game where you may have to give up some decent hands in hopes of getting a top tier pay out. For example, if you have a straight that contains four to a royal flush, you should go for it. The same holds true for when you have a full house with three Aces; you simply need to go for the Four of A Kind and the 800 credit payout! These tough decisions might lead to some big disappointments, but they can really pay off in the long run because they do make sense from a statistical perspective.
